Glansin is our creation from a spark of desire to bring an experience of joining together with friends to enjoy light surroundings and delicious dining. Inspired by the Scottish landscape of the Highlands and Islands there is little slice of peace combined with some decadence and luxury.

The inspiration of the beautiful music, art, history and patisserie of Vienna and sheer joy of taking tea, add to this love of simply pausing to enjoy these moments in life.

You will find delicious, tea, coffee and light snacks alongside our main event, Afternoon Tea. This quintessentially English tradition is an ideal opportunity to catch up with friends and loved ones or take a break with our lovely team.

Glansin is created from an old Scottish word glans which means to shine or give light, sparkling! It is our desire to develop our exclusive space to share with you and along the way we will be showcasing beautiful local art and handcrafted products. We are a small team of local people passionate about quality food, drink and experiences. We look forward to welcoming you to join with us in adding to our story.
